The South West has a large and varied number of attractions to suite all age groups. There are the beaches with beautiful sandy south coast to the more wild surfing ones on the north coast. The north coast also has spectacular 100m cliffs pounded by the North Atlantic Ocean.

A wonderful old city dating back to before Roman times. Things to see include a beautiful Cathedral, Roman wall which is still intact. There is the canal and the canal basin with all its shops and restaurants. On the campus of the university there is the Northcott Theatre who put on many very good productions each year. Crediton

As the birthplace of St Boniface in 680 AD, one of the first Christian preachers in northern Europe, the town was made the seat of the first bishop of Devon and Cornwall and became the site of the cathedral-sized church which still dominates the town today. Crediton has one of the best golf courses in the region Downs Crediton. A sports hall and swimming pool.
