Ashridge FarmBed & breakfast and Farm Holidays in the heart of Mid Devon.Ashridge is a working Organic farm of approximately 200 acres being a mixture of Sheep, Cattle, Pigs,Chicken and Arable. There are waymarked trails with magnificent views and lots of wildlife. There is a large lawn for children to play safely. Farm animals to feed and eggs to pick up for breakfast. Surrounded by beautiful peaceful countryside with rolling fields, ancient woods and quiet country lanes where the only sound are the sounds of nature, a tractor working in the fields and the occasional car. Yet the north and south Devon coast are within easy reach as is Dartmoor and Exmoor. Most of the South West major attractions are within one and half driving such as Lost gardens of Heligan and The Eden project. There are other family attraction include Big Sheep and Crealy Park. This makes Ashridge Farm and ideal venue for a family holiday what ever the weather. The accommodation has been recently converted using natural materials were possible including Oak timber flooring, sheep's wool insulation and water based paints, making the rooms allergy free. All heating, including the under floor and hot water is provided by an environmental award winning wood pellet burning system.
